ACI Marinas<\/h1>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The ACI Marinas<\/strong><\/a> is a chain of 22 marinas on the Croatian coast with headquarters in Rijeka (since the end of November 2018).<\/div>
\u00a0<\/div>
The ACI is an abbreviation from Adriatic Croatia International Club and it was founded in 1983 with the purpose of promoting nautical tourism. In its founding years, the marina chain consisted of 16 marinas, was 100% state-owned and called ACY (Adriatic Club Yugoslavia). After the collapse of Yugoslavia and the independence of Croatia, the company was partially privatized in 1994 and since then bears the name ACI Club.<\/div>

The 16 founding marinas were built between 1982 and 1985 and opened one year later. Then the ACI Marina Kor\u010dula<\/a> and ACI Marina Opatija<\/a>\u00a0followed. In 1991, the previously independent ACI Marina Dubrovnik<\/a> was integrated into the network. Three years later ACI Cres and ACI Simuni marinas followed. The ACI Marina Slano (north of Dubrovnik) was opened as the newest Marina 2016.<\/p>

Of the 22 marinas, 18 are open year-round.\u00a0The ACI Marinas Palmi\u017eana<\/a>, Pi\u0161kera<\/a>, Rab<\/a>\u00a0and Zut<\/a>\u00a0are only open from April to October.\u00a0The ACI marinas have a good range of services. Mooring lines, electricity, water, and sanitary facilities are a matter of course.<\/p>

In addition to new marinas, there have been a number of modernizations in recent years. ACI Marina Rovinj was closed at the end of 2016 and rebuilt from scratch. The re-opening took place end of April 2019.<\/p>

The ACI Marina Rovinj<\/a> is now one of the most exclusive marinas on the Adriatic. There is a total of 386 berths in the water for yachts up to 50 m in length and and 30 berths on land.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The ACI marina in Split also underwent extensive refurbishment and modernization in 2016. According to the ACI management, several other marinas are also about to modernize.<\/p>

Some of the mainland marinas are the starting point for various charter fleets. Then at the weekend, the sanitary facilities are at the capacity limit with the associated disadvantages.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The prices for the ACI Marinas are quite different.\u00a0While the popular ACI marinas are found in the upper price segment in Rovinj<\/a>,\u00a0Palmizana<\/a>, Korcula<\/a>, Skradin<\/a>\u00a0or Split<\/a>, other marinas such as \u0160imuni<\/a>, Umag<\/a>, but also Opatija<\/a>\u00a0and Supetarska Draga<\/a>\u00a0are among the most affordable ACI marinas in Croatia<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>

The new ACI Marina Rovinj<\/a>\u00a0is the most expensive marina (150 \u20ac \/ day \/ 12 m LOA) in the ACI network after its reopening while the\u00a0ACI Marina Supetarska Draga<\/a>\u00a0has the lowest berth prices (62\u00a0\u20ac \/ day \/ 12 m LOA).<\/p>

The main reason is ACI Marina Rovinj\u00a0is the marina with the biggest investment in ACI history, which was built after a \u20ac20 million investment and categorized with 5 anchors, was opened on April 2019.<\/p>
