La Mariana Sailing Club is a private marina situated in Hawaii’s capital of Honolulu, on the eastern shore of Keehi Lagoon. It has a rich history, having been opened in 1955 and rebuilt in 1975 when the original premises had to be vacated. The first tiki bar in Hawaii was opened here in 1957 and today La Mariana continues to serve delicious cocktails and snacks in a relaxed atmosphere. Honolulu’s downtown area is a short ride to the east. Historical landmarks like Iolani Palace, the Kawaiahao Church, the Hawaiian Mission Houses Historic Site and Archive, Aloha Tower, the King Kamehameha I Statue, and the Hawaii Theatre are located downtown, while the well-known beaches of Waikiki are further east.
