Marina du Robert

Marina du Robert is located on the east coast of Martinique island, in Le Robert commune, part of La Trinite administrative division. Martinique is an overseas region of France between the Atlantic and the Caribbean, whose closest neighbors are Dominica and Saint Lucia. The island has a striking diversity of landscapes, from the urban area around the capital Fort de France to the mountainous northern part and the numerous bays and beaches in the south. Located on Martinique's Atlantic coast, north of Marina du Robert, the Caravelle peninsula is a nature reserve that houses numerous plants and wildlife, being a sort of microcosm showcasing the island’s diverse terrain that includes dry forests, mangroves, grassy savannah and desert-like coastal areas. Set on the tip of the peninsula are the remains of a 17th century sugar cane plantation called Chateau Dubuc. For beach enthusiasts, Martinique is a perfect vacation spot, with both tropical white sand beaches and volcanic black sand ones.
