Humacao è un comune portoricano. Si trova sul lato sud-orientale del paese. Humacao è vicina a Las Piedras a est, a Yabucoa a nord, a Vieques Passage a ovest ea Naguabo a sud. The area which is now known as Humacao used to be inhabited by the Taíno indigenes, a native Caribbean population. In the 18th century, due to the exploration and colonization process, Humacao began to be occupied by Spanish settlers.
