The restaurants and cafés in the area serve delicious food, with a side of great view. Here are some of the most visited ones: Mrs. Jones Tea Depot, Shoreside Café, The Lifeboat, Seabreeze.

- Chandlery: Jolliffe's and Pascal Atkey in Cowes. Richardon's by car or boat at Island Harbour
- Marine services: There are loads of good local trades who will visit the marina.
 
There are 2 B&Bs in actual East Cowes: BoSun’s Lodge and Prince of Wales, but if neither of them satisfy your needs, here are a couple more accommodation units nearby: The Fountain Inn, Albert Cottage, Rawlings, Villa Rothsay and New Holmwood.
The main attractions are Osborne House, a royal retreat for Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, that still keeps some of the couple’s possessions and The Classic Boat Museum, which hosts a collection of small crafts, covering a page of maritime history.
