Flensburger Segel Club is a marina in Glucksburg, on the western shore of Flensburg Fjord in the Region of Schleswig Holstein. One of the most beautiful marinas in Europe, the club is known for hosting the Flensburg Fjord Regatta. Tourists coming to this club should know that they are in a royal town, the home of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glucksburg family. Located 10 kilometres from Flensburg, visitors can choose to travel by car or boat there or remain in the proximity of the marina where the best-known attraction is the Glucksburg Castle, a water castle built in the 16th century. The castle is the former seat of the Danish kings and is now a museum opened to visitors. Apart from the castle, the perimeter also holds the Glucksburger Rosarium which grows more than 500 different roses.
