Club Náutico de San Juan is located in San Juan.

San Juan is the capital city of Puerto Rico. This is the second oldest place Europeans founded in this part of the New World. San Juan’s is one of the most effervescent cities in Puerto Rico. the great advantage of this place is its coastal position which allowed it to flourish through trade and tourism. San Juan is one of the biggest touristic attractions in the country.

The first community in this area was established at the beginning of the 16th century by the Spanish explorer Juan Ponce de León. Throughout the following centuries, the region was often subject to British and Dutch attacks. The land’s riches were a target for these vast colonial empires. Nowadays San Juan is still one of the most wealthy places in the country. Tourism is the main source of income that gathers masses of travelers yearly; they are usually drawn by the city’s nightlife and the beautiful beaches where they can swim, practice water sports or book a berth and sail along the coast.

There are many beautiful touristic objectives visitors should check out; San Juan National Historic Site which includes several forts and historical monuments is one of them.
La Fortaleza is a beautiful building home of the Puerto Rico’s Governor. The place was built in the 16th century, and it still preserves its old architectural style, being one of the buildings included in the World Heritage Sites.
The Puerto Rico Museum of Contemporary Art is another must-see objective; its exhibits reflect the local arts and crafts of the indigenous populations who inhabited the area.
Another great spot for art lovers is Centro de Bellas Artes Luis A. Ferré where tourist can enjoy concerts, events or art exhibitions.
Fort San Cristóbal is an old settlement built by the Spanish colonists for protection and surveillance; the original construction had a total surface of almost 30 acres,  nowadays the beautiful ruins gather crowds of tourists who can also admire the great panoramic view from here.
The city region known as old San Juan is one of the main local attraction; this is the area that has the most prominent buildings from the colonist period, and their unique architectural style is amazing.
