Grand Bay Yacht Club is located in a bay on the north part of Mauritius, just steps away from two beaches and a few restaurants. Grand Baie has become the premier tourist destination of Mauritius, the starting point of nautical trips to the northern islands. Thanks to its protected bay, it’s ideal for sailing. This charming village offers a wide variety of restaurants, boutiques and nightlife. Another picturesque village in the north of Mauritius is Cap Malheureux, the northernmost part of the island, with an important fishing community. Triolet is the longest village of the island and the place where you can visit the biggest Hindu temple, the Maheswarnath Mandir. The most popular beaches in the north are Trou aux Biches, shaded by casuarinas, and the long curvy beach of Mont Choisy which continues to the Pereybere public beach. You can take a walk over the rocks, to the left or right of Pereybere, to discover the secluded beaches of Casita and Bain Boeuf.
