Varadero Caribe is located in Oranjestad.

Oranjestad is the capital city of Aruba, a country that belongs to the Kingdom of the Netherlands and lies in the Caribbean Sea. This city is located in the Southern part of the country on the coast. The Dutch heritage reflected in the city’s architecture, the cultural diversity, and the splendid sightseeing turn Oranjestad into a predilect destination for tourists all over the world.

This is a fairly new settlement from a historical point of view. The construction of the city was due to the military fortification at Fort Zoutman belonging to the Dutch colonists. Oranjestad began to develop in the 18th century. The city’s privileged coastal position allowed it to flourish throughout the centuries.

Nowadays, one of the main sources that support the local economy is tourism. People are drawn by the green-turquoise waters surrounding the island and the numerous waters sports they can practice here, as well as berth booking and sailing.
