Svanemøllehavnen

Svanemøllehavnen is a port situated in Copenhagen city, Osterbro district, and north of the city centre. The marina is perfect for those who want to have a short and fast trip to Copenhagen or just relax in the areas by the port where tourists can sunbathe or hold barbeques. Osterbro is home to Kastellet, one of the best-preserved star fortresses in Northern Europe, built in the 17th century by King Christian IV of Denmark. Gefion Fountain, the largest monument in Copenhagen, depicts Gefjun, a Norse goddess and an abundant group of animals. The fountain is used by visitors as a wishing well; tourists are invited to experience the Nordic version of Trevi Fountain in the middle of Copenhagen centre. Those in search of leisure activities can visit Faelledparken, a park where visitors can go on running, walking, sunbathing, go to the playgrounds or watch a football match at the nearby Telia Parken, Denmark’s national football team stadium and of local team Fc Copenhagen.
