UK Sailing Academy

UK Sailing Academy (commonly known as UKSA) is a youth maritime training base, located on the Western banks of River Medina, on the Isle of Wight and it was established in 1987. UKSA is, in fact, a charity centre, focused on training for maritime employment, education, life and work skills and personal challenge. It teaches courses in watersports, such as kitesurfing, windsurfing, kayaking and sailing, as well as in yachting. UKSA is a place of good and positive energy, that has a great impact on the development of young people, through the trips they take away from home. It is a method meant to bind the pupils and make them create life lasting memories. Being a charitable organization means that fundraising, donations, partnerships and volunteering are important aspect in order to evolve and attract young people. The main purpose of UKSA is that every person that walks through their doorway builds their confidence and finds essential skills to successfully use in life.
