Club Nàutic l´Ametlla de Mar is also known as Port Yacht Club Ametlla and it is located in the municipality with the same name, in Costa Dorada. Most travellers would say that this location is heaven on earth. L’Ametlla or La Cala, as it is also called, is a paradisiac place with authentic buildings and colour spectacles that last throughout the year. The landscapes on this side of the coast are unspoilt and many of the local traditions have been kept for centuries. Fishing represents the main activity within the marina and outside of it, fish auctions starting from 4PM every day. Those who are passionate about fishing will find the largest red tuna in Spain in these calm waters. There are 16 km of coastline and some of the most impressive beaches and bays are Cala del Trevol, Sant Jordi and many more. This old village also has a cultural heritage that can be admired within the Museum of Popular Ceramics or while visiting old structures like The Castle of Saint Jordi d’Alafama.
