Yacht Club Norden e.V., Lower Saxony, Germany

Yacht Club Norden e.V. is a marina in the city of Norden, Lower Saxony, Germany’s north-western most point of its mainland. The marina is a perfect place for relaxing, both on fishing trips or offshore cruising, and due to its location, tourists can take one day trips to Denmark or the Netherlands where they can enjoy the specifics that each country has to offer. Back in Norden, visitors can go on a cultural trip, starting with Ludgeri Church, East Frisian’s oldest church, built 800 years ago in a Romanesque style, which also houses the second largest pipe organ in Germany and going on with Mennonite Church, a protected monument in the city. The centre square of the city hosts a number of secular trees. Most known old buildings are the Dree Susters or the Three Sisters, Renaissance style buildings with similar facades. Tea lovers should know that they can visit East Frisia Tea Museum, considered the first unique museum covering the history of tea culture in Europe.
