Port de Calvi

  • Private port
  • Corsica, France

Port de Calvi is also known as Port Xavier Colonna and it is situated in Calvi, on the north-western coast of Corsica, which is the fifth largest commune on the island of Corsica. Guests of the marina will benefit from modern facilities within the area and will get the chance to discover a wonderful land filled with mysteries of time. Calvi is believed to be the starting point of Christopher Columbus’ journeys. It has a fascinating history and natural attractions that are simply overwhelming. Viewed from off-shore, this commune looks like an isolated, medieval hilltop village that hides historic treasures, but in reality, it is a welcoming resort that receives a large number of tourists each year. The Santa Maria Church is one of the main monuments in town and it delights visitors with its pink colour and its Catholic old style. Water sports lovers should definitely explore the underwater world of Calvi, where breath-taking corals can be seen while diving or kayaking.
