Seglervereinigung Merching e.V. is a marina located in Mering municipality, between Augusburg and Landsberg am Lech in the Free State of Bavaria. The port is located on the Mandichosee artificial lake, created by damming the Lech River. The area has become a very popular attraction for tourists, who come here to enjoy recreational activities such as swimming, sailing and surfing. There are also beaches where visitors can sunbathe, well-maintained walking and cycling trails and playgrounds for the visitors’ enjoyment. The marina is located 14 kilometres south of Augsburg where tourists can go to, either by boat or by car.
