Sportboothafen Stippelwerft is a marina located in the city of Prien am Chiemsee in Bavaria. Found on the western shore of Chiemsee lake, also called the Bavarian Sea, the marina is located in a natural paradise with incredible landscapes provided by the Alps. The surroundings offer tourists plenty of landmarks to visit. The city of Prien am Chiemsee has a few worth mentioning like St. James Church from the 14th century, the statue of St. Catherine, Prien Museum or Chiemseebahn-Museum. Further along on the lake, the island of Frauenchiemsee houses a Benedictine nunnery built in the 8th century that is opened to visitors.
