 Tolo Marina, Peloponnese, Greece

Tolo Marina is a unique port situated in the city with the same name on the shores of the Aegean Sea. The small port of Tolo is part of the municipal unit of Asini, in Argolis Greece, within the Peloponnese peninsula. The harbour offers daily cruises, which depart every morning and return late in the evening and lead to the most famous Peloponnese islands (Poros, Spetses and Hydra) and Monemvasia. Found 10 km away from Nafplion, the city of Tolo comes to life during the summer season, a significant contributing factor being the sandy beach Psili Ammos, with its crystal waters. Here guests can enjoy the superb accommodation facilities and practice a wide variety of water sports, particularly jet-ski. Delicious traditional Greek cuisine, as well as modern European food, can be tasted in these marvellous restaurants: Afratoyla, Marinero Taverna, Romvi and Chez Gilles. Enjoy cocktails on the many sandy beaches and swim in the shallow clear blue waters of Tolo marina.

Nowadays, the region is separated from the mainland by the narrow Corinth Canal, however there are many bridges connecting Peloponnese to Attica across the canal. It is a highly cultural area and has become very popular, being celebrated by many tourists from all over the world, especially during the summer season.

Its many natural beauties – mountains, forests, rivers and caves surrounded by the sea, sandy beaches, completed by monuments from every period of the eventful Peloponnesian history, breathtaking archaeologica... more info
