After all the wedding planning it’s time to enjoy the big day and relax during the honeymoon. When it comes to choosing a destination, the possibilities are virtually endless. Whether you’re into tropical islands, urban settings or picturesque countryside, take a look at our new list of the most luxurious honeymoon destinations.

1. Tuscany

Located in central Italy, Tuscany is almost a legendary province, immortalized in many works of fiction. The region’s cultural heritage, best seen in the capital Florence, the famous villas in the countryside and natural beauty makes it a fantastic place for honeymooners.

Whether you’re looking for sandy beaches or mountainous landscapes, ancient Etruscan and Roman ruins or medieval villages, a wonderful cuisine and wine, you will find it all in Tuscany.

We recommend mooring your boat at Porto Turistico Domiziano, close to Monte Argentario.

 2. British Virgin Islands

The British Virgin Islands comprises more than 60 islands and cays, of which the main four are Tortola, Virgin Gorda, Anegada and Jost van Dyke. Powdery white-sand beaches, lush green mountains, and yacht-filled harbors are a common denominator of these islands, where you can enjoy the friendly atmosphere and the people’s hospitality.

A honeymoon here is like a dream come true, as the islands have a lot to offer: arts and culture, fine dining, shopping and a variety of activities. The accommodation options range from luxury resorts and private villas to a scenic campground.

3. Maui, Hawaii

Known as the “Valley Isle,” Maui is the second largest of the Hawaiian Islands. There’s so many romantic experiences to enjoy here, including seeing the sun rise over the clouds at Haleakala, Maui’s highest peak; driving to Hana and counting the waterfalls along the way; going on a farm tour and enjoying the fabulous local cuisine; and obviously taking a stroll down the beach.

On Maui’s shores you’ll find white, black and red sand beaches and renowned surfing spots.

4. Monaco

Just 2.8 square km in size, the principality of Monaco has been a magnet for the rich and famous since the beginning of the XX century. This crowded town offers a variety of luxury hotels, restaurants and boutiques, exclusive nightclubs and a few tourist attractions like the Royal Palace and the old town in Le Rocher.

Monaco is also a good base to explore the French Riviera. We recommend mooring your boat at Port Hercule.

5. Cannes

World famous for the film festival, Cannes is synonymous with wealth and glamour. Strolling down La Croisette, the designer boutiques, expensive cars and yachts lining the harbor cannot fail to impress. As a honeymoon destination, Cannes offers a complete package that includes the finest restaurants, private beaches, a string of tranquil islands and has the advantage of being close to the famous towns of the French Riviera, like St. Tropez, Nice and Monaco.

Our recommendation for a marina is Vieux Port de Cannes.

6. St. Vincent and the Grenadines

The southern Caribbean nation of St. Vincent and the Grenadines includes 32 gorgeous islands that provide a perfect backdrop for a romantic getaway.

The honeymoon packages include luxury private islands resorts on Mustique, one of the most exclusive islands in the world, sailing the turquoise waters of Tobago Cays, romantic dinners on the beach and a range of activities for two.
