Things are a changing. This marina has a great location coming from the sea. In the past, things were actually great considering the prices. With the changes that are coming, already being worked on, this place will become a must sought after berthing location for most any vessel, and though you aren't in Grand Harbor, the central location makes it easy to get things done, shopping, maintenance, etc... This has been our winter home for almost 20 years, and having Malta located in the middle of the Med. , this makes for easy movements throughout the Med. no wifi and power outages.

Manoel Island Yacht MARINA LTD. is located in Central Region.

Surrounded by the crystal seas of the Mediterranean, Malta is a charming destination for large cruise ships and for the sailors exploring the beautiful deep blue waters. With 7,000 years of history, the Maltese Islands have so many areas of heritage and culture to be discovered. You can choose to be fascinated by dramatic views of cliffs plunging into waves or relax and enjoy the hidden, lush valleys.

Megalithic Temples, mysterious prehistoric sites, medieval chapels and secluded palaces of the Knights fill the timeless landscape of magic and mystery creating an impressive atmosphere and inspiring a mystic feel. The arts have always played a large role in Maltese culture. A variety of theatres - including the Valletta's Manoel Theatre and two opera houses in Victoria (Gozo)- offer a wide selection of plays, musicals, operas and concerts. There is a bustling night life and entertainment activities as the locals' approach on life is to enjoy and celebrate it as much as possible. Malta has a full calendar of cultural events such as the Malta Arts Festival, the Valletta Baroque Festival, the Opera Festival, the Choir Festival and the International Jazz Festival. Major music concerts starring top international artists are held every summer together with many exhibitions and shows, feasts and carnivals which attract massive crowds of tourists.

As a result of the blend of cultures due to the relationship between the Maltese people and the numerous civilizations that occupied them, the traditional cuisine is a mix of Mediterranean dishes. The Maltese food is rustic and consists of many specialities such as  Lampuki Pie (fish pie), Rabbit Stew, Bragioli (beef olives), Kapunata, (Maltese version of ratatouille), and widow's soup, which includes a small round of Gbejniet (sheep or goat's cheese). Octopus and squid are very often used to make some rich stews and pasta sauces.

There is an old saying that a place can only be called ‘island ‘when viewed from the sea. What is undeniable is that there is no better way to appreciate the beauty of the Maltese coastline than from the deck of a boat. The tourists are often fascinated by spectacular seascapes bordered by sandy and rocky beaches, offering practical areas for the families, lovely spots for the romantics, peaceful areas for leisure and lively spots for those who are interested in summer sports and fun. Many beaches offer water sports from windsurfing to sea-kayaking, water-skiing, wakeboarding, water polo, canoeing, fishing, yachting and sailing. The Maltese coastal waters are a paradise for diving and swimming. The sea is warm and clean all year and offers excellent visibility.

The Islands are perfect for sailing and yachting in a safe and remote environment that few other destinations can rival. Sailing schools offer lessons for the most active visitors, while harbour cruises are ideal for those who prefer to relax on board and experience Malta from a different angle.
