great little place in Makarska riviera. It's a picturesque little marina in a superb location, nice and friendly staff (maybe a bit understaffed) definitely worth visiting. It's a bit narrow so I imagine with some heavier wind (there was none on my arrival/departure) the maneuvering can be a bit tricky.

For a berth booking in Makarska, we can anticipate your needs by recommending you some of the best marinas in Makarska: Marina Ramova and Marina Tucepi.

This city lies right on the edge of the region known as Dalmatia. It is located in an ideal position close to popular tourist resorts. Makarska lies only 60 km away from the largest and more popular city of Split. The other major Croatian attraction – Dubrovnik is only a 2 h drive away. Makarska is a place where you can enjoy the shade of the palm trees, while taking a stroll on the promenade, enjoying a romantic dinner at a waterfront restaurant or shopping for souvenirs in a local boutique. Of course, the marinas in Makarska won’t let you down either, as the berths in Makarska aim to provide the highest level of comfort and care.

The Makarska Riviera has a great deal of beautiful beaches, so we are only going to name a few of them. Near Brela, you will find several lovely bays where you can sail to. Among the beautiful seaside destinations of Makarska, you should check out the bays of Vruja, accessible either by boat, car or on foot.

In the area known as Baška Voda, you will find the popular pebbly beach of Brela Berulia. Tourists flock here in the summer to have fun at the beach bars with live music that are open until dusk. If you’re looking for beautiful views, the beaches of Velika Duba (Živogošće), Nugal (Makarska), Vodice Beach (Gradac) are some of the best choices.

Makarska is guarded by the imposing mountain Biokovo, the second highest in Croatia. So, if you’re into hiking, bring your equipment. There are plenty challenges waiting for you in the Biokovo Mountain. Moreover, as you climb to the top, you can enjoy an exquisite panoramic view of the surroundings. If the weather allows it, you might even be able to observe Italy from atop the peak.

Some of the historical highlights of the city are its 16th century monastery and medieval churches. The monastery hosts a lovely sea-shell exhibition which is worth seeing. Also, there is a beautiful baroque palace you can visit. For those who love sightseeing, the Roman Catholic grotto is a recommended objective.
