Marina Agana or Port Agana is on the Adriatic coast, in the inlet that is situated 7 miles away from Trogir and Rogoznica, on the Croatian coast. The village that hosts this port is called Marina, and it is a small municipality with approximatively 5000 inhabitants in central Dalmatia. This location is popular for its sandy beaches and its cuisine based on fish meals that is being provided by local restaurants, but also for historical sites in the area. One of the highly valued hotels in this settlement is the Hotel Marinska Kula. Also, there are exquisite restaurants such as La Barca, Tivoli, Konoba Marina, Konoba Kod Duje, Restaurant Lanterna, etc. An old castle is readily observable on Marina’s waterfronts, as well as the Church of St John with its Gothic architecture. Those who like to visit Trogir will find here a remarkable example of urban continuity where its orthogonal street plan dates back to the Hellenistic period.
