Port Leucate is hosted by a costal village with the same name, on the French coast, at the base of the Corbieres Mountains and between the Mediterranean Sea and sea pond. It is also known as Port de Plaisance Laucate or Port de Leucate. The community of Leucate is situated at the mouth of the Golf du Lion, offering tourists marvellous views from this side of the coast. There are 5 major areas that can be visited by travellers and Port Leucate is one of them. The other 4 are La Franqui, Leucate village, Leucate beach and the naturist village on the island of Correggio. Wine lovers will have the chance to taste the local wine of Coteaux du Littoral Audois and visit local vineyards.
