Water Taxi Warning. General facilities, cleanliness, friendly staff. ACI must be aware of the serious risk presented by the Hvar water taxi service. Firstly the price of this service is now crazy, 100 euros for a family of 5, this to be added to the high cost of the marina. ACI must also be aware th... at water taxis with a safety limit of say 20 persons are carrying sometimes more than 40 persons. This transport is often being done in the dark, at high speed and often with young people with too much alcohol. This is massive risk of multiple deaths, all being done with ACI's knowledge from a marine operated by ACI. Why is a responsible company like ACI allowing this to happen?.  Read more

Tight, Busy but the only game in town if you want to hang out with the cool people or go to Hvar Town. Easy access to Hvar, modern marina with a shop and all the usual amenities. Very tight and very busy so only attempt this place if your boat handling is up to scratch. This is a favoured place for...  Yacht week. Midweek we has 26 boats taking up half the marina. To be fair they were not noisy or badly behaved but they did mean overwhelmed toilets, showers and other facilities. Expensive, you are paying for the location.  Read more

Marina Rules

Entering ACI Marina Palmizana. To the north, in front of the entrance is the rock called Baba, which is visible only during low tide. The rock is marked by a lighthouse (Fl (2) 10s 7m 4M) fixed on a black-red-black stand with two globes. Because of the width of the rock one should keep clear of it. The very entrance to the marina is marked by an “ACI” sign board.

When approaching from Cape Pelegrin, one should steer towards the Baba rock. The same can also be used as a way point when approaching from the town of Hvar, but on that route one should keep clear of the islet of Gojca.

ACI marina Palmižana can be entered from the south as well, through the passage between the islands of Borovac and St. Klement where the sea depth is less than 5m. The latter passage is not lighted.
